Happy Halloween!

Hey, everyone! HAPPY HALLOWEEN! What fun plans do you have tonight?

Just C & S had a bonus challenge this month: make a Halloween project. I made a quick layout:
Thanks for stopping by...hope your day is full of treats, not tricks ;o)

Lucky number 5

Hey, all! Happy, HAPPY Friday...so glad that it is finally here!

There is a new challenge posted over at the Just C & S blog today - use a number on your project, any way you want. I kept my layout really simple (hence the S in "Just C & S"). Here it is:
Head on over to the Just C & S blog to see what the other lovely ladies came up with. Have a nice day!!

Again?!?

Hey, all!

I loved the Just C & S sketch #14 so much that I made another layout with it...almost identical to the first one that I made. I just really liked the way the first attempt turned out so I decided to use the same basic concept and just use slightly different embellies. Here it is: Happy Thursday {c'mon Friday...get here fast :o) }

Just C & S sketch #14

Hi, everyone! I hope that you had a nice weekend...mine was way too short...oh well :-)

Just C & S has a new sketch posted today...and honestly, it is one of my favorites. It is simple, but cool. Here is my layout:
I think the Sassafras paper whimsies were perfect for this sketch. And isn't that picture hilarious? Eric is always making funny faces in photos and I am always totally oblivious...

As always, thanks for stopping by...enjoy your work week!!

♥ my lazy Saturdays...

Hey, all! Sorry I have been absent so much this month...it's been a combination of me being busy with work and me being too lazy to do anything productive in my freetime.

Anyways, I did have a layout that I wanted to share. I used the newest Creative Scrappers sketch (#126) to make it. Here it is:
Am still loving that fun Echo Park paper and decided to do something I don't normally do: make patterned paper my background. I usually only use patterned paper as accent pieces, but this paper is just too fun...

Thanks for stopping by....hope you have a lovely weekend!

Just C & S Sketch #13

Hi, everyone! I hope that you had a nice weekend. It was rainy here, but that made it all the more relaxing.

The newest sketch is up at Just C & S. Here is my take on it:

I used some more on Toni's fabulous blooms, found here. They are so fun!

Thanks for stopping by...have a good week!!

Love those high heeled shoes!

Hey, all! I hope you had a happy Sunday. I was highly productive today when it came to my scrappiness...I was mainly working on some DT projects, but I did also do a layout just for fun. I decided to play along with The Studio Challenges current prompt: to scrap a guilty pleasure. My guilty pleasure really is buying high heels when they are on sale. I don't even wear them a lot because I can't wear high heels to work, but I still have about a billion pairs. Oh well. A girl's gotta be happy with her shoes! Anyway, here is my layout:
I started off with a plan for my layout and ended up scratching it. I wound up just throwing different things down on the paper...I had a lot of fun with it. It may not be the prettiest layout ever, but it was cathartic :-)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a nice week!

Rain, rain go away...

Good morning, all! It is rainy and icky where I am. I hope it is nice and sunny where you are. I actually LOVE rainy days, just not when I have to go to work. Rainy days make me want to snuggle up with a good book or take a nice long nap!

I have a quick layout to share with you:
You are going to be seeing a lot of Sassafras on my layouts, as I bought one of their mystery boxes and it was chock full of yumminess. Also, see that cute felt flower in the top right corner? That is one of Toni's lovely creations. I used this one because I wanted it to look like concentric circles and not necessarily a flower...Max is a boy doggy after all. Check out more of her fun creations here.

Have a good, dry day!

CS #124

Happy Sunday morning/afternoon/night (depending on what part of the world you are in). This morning I played with the newest sketch from Creative Scrappers. Here's my take on it:
Not my best work, I know. My "scrapitude" has been off a little bit lately. I still had some of purple products laying out from the monochromatic challenge over at Just C & S, so I kept to that color scheme.

Thanks for stopping by...have a nice work week!
